2011 is really heating up now (in more ways than one).

The new version of The Critical Darlings is ready to go with shows coming up soon in Athens and Atlanta, Georgia.

We've now got Alex Grizzard on drums, Ash Miltiades on guitar and vocals, Kate Powell on keyboards and vocals and Adam West on bass. Along with the new lease on life, we've got some new tunes of which we're very, very proud.

I still haven't gotten the April show reports up yet, but they're coming soon.

Here's the first ever performance anywhere of "Hold On" done on the Live From The Classic City show in Athens, Georgia on March 13. We had only rehearsed once with the 5 of us and I hadn't even finished writing the lyrics, but I wanted to get some new music out there to you. The bass player and second guitarist didn't work out and they've been replaced, but they were there for the debut of this new tune. Thanks to Mark and Robert for helping us flesh it out.

We Are The Spinoffs.

Kathy Kirbo, Chris McKay, Ian Werden and Bryan J. Howard have united and are currently creating new music as The Spinoffs. The brand new quartet will make their live debut on Saturday, December 18 at the 40 Watt Club in Athens, GA as part of the Jon Guthrie Living The Dream Foundation Concert.
